A technical bassist known for his work backing Joe Satriani and Steve Vai. He plays aggressive slap and tapping lines with a relatively tight, hard-edged tone. In terms of technique, he’s arguably on par with Victor Wooten. The opening track especially is a dizzying barrage of mind-spinning phrases.
