すみません。小柄の良さをうまく撮影できていなかったので一度出品を取り消しもう一度出品させていただきます。

本作は、江戸前期を代表する名金工・細野惣左衛門政守作の名品です。政守は京都・上条小川に居住し、精緻な毛彫と平象嵌を駆使して、洛中洛外の情景や人物の生態を描き出すことを得意としました。

この小柄には、川に架かる橋を渡る旅人、松林と茅葺屋根の家屋、遠近法とリズム感のある構図で奥行きを表現しています。特に人物表現においては、一人ひとりに所作の個性が与えられ、まるで物語が流れているかのような叙情性を漂わせています。
毛彫と平象嵌が見事な政守の最高傑作の小柄と思われます。一円から売り切ります。よろしくお願いします。

This work is a masterpiece by Hosono Sozaemon Masamori, a distinguished metal artist representing the early Edo period. Masamori resided in Kamijo Ogawa in Kyoto and was renowned for his refined kebori (fine line engraving) and hira-zgan (flat inlay), skillfully depicting scenes of Kyoto (Rakuch-Rakugai) and lively human figures.

This kozuka portrays travelers crossing a bridge over a river, pine groves, and thatched-roof houses. Through a well-balanced composition with a sense of perspective and rhythm, the artist creates remarkable depth. Each figure is rendered with individual gestures and character, evoking a poetic narrative as though a story is quietly unfolding across the surface.

It is considered to be one of Masamori’s finest kozuka works. The piece will be sold from 1 yen with no reserve. Thank you for your interest.
