An 1982 release (her sixth album overall) by Noriko Miyamoto, the “soul diva who was ahead of her time,” whose work is now being highly reappraised. Arranged and played on bass by Tsugutoshi Gotoh, with drums by Shuichi Murakami and Jun Aoyama. The flow from the horn-driven funk track “ONNA” to the ballad “Part 2,” written as a duo with Ichiro Tomita, is outstanding.
A rare Japanese boogie release.
