Sacros was one of Chile's pioneering bands, a group of painting enthusiasts who maintained a unique sensibility but only released one album due to a military coup. This is a cassette version of 1982 album by Carlos Salazar, who was also a member of the band. His style changed to a more abstract into 1990s, but this album mainly features a sound that evokes Chile's unique climate, a mixture of nueva vacancion, folklore, psychedelic, experimental. It's an indescribable, sticky groove that gives off a pastoral atmosphere, and it's an addictive feeling. The number of LPs in existence is very few and expensive.
