旧日本軍で使用された「軍盃（ぐんぱい）」と呼ばれる盃です。
デザイン: 盃の内側には、旭日旗が描かれ、上部には「義」と「着」という文字、右側には「三華」という文字が書かれています。
用途: 軍盃は、出征する兵士への激励や、戦功を称える際などに授与されることが多く、記念品や縁起物として用いられました。
陶器製です。中には漆器や金属製のものもあります。
歴史的背景: 軍盃は、明治時代から太平洋戦争終結までの間に広く使用されました。

Gunpai /Military Cup /Sake Ware /Imperial Japanese Army /Sake Cup/

This is a sake cup called a "gunpai" used by the former Japanese military.

Design: The inside of the sake cup is decorated with the rising sun flag, the characters "Gi" (righteousness) and "Kaku" (wear) at the top, and the character "Sanka" (three flowers) on the right.

Use: Gunpai were often awarded to soldiers departing for war or to commemorate military achievements, and were used as souvenirs and lucky charms.

Made of ceramic. Some are made of lacquerware or metal.

Historical background: Gunpai were widely used from the Meiji period until the end of the Pacific War.
