KING QUARTZのツインクォーツ、雪目文字盤（またはダイアモンドダストダイアル） Diamond Dust Dial.

OH済み精度は抜群です。カタログスペックは年差±２０秒です。現在の通常クォーツ時計は月差±１５秒ですので、その９倍の精度となります。

レアモデル

KING QUARTZ シリーズは７０年代にKING SEIKOシリーズが廃止され、それの代替ブランドとして創立されたものです。当時、クオーツの精度と利便性がもてはやされ、機械式時計が全く売れない状況になり、その形になった様です。

このモデルはKing Quartz最後のツインクォーツモデルで、生産台数が非常に少なく、特にダイアルコンディションがこれだけ良いものは滅多にないかと思います。先日知り合いの時計屋さんにオーバーホールしていただき、風防交換、ベルト交換, パッキン交換を一緒にお願いしました。パッキン交換はしていますが、時計屋さんは古い時計だから念の為、水には近づけないでとのことでした。（セイコーのOHでも同じ事を言われます。）

ケースはわざと磨いておりません。完璧ではありませんが、味があって良いかと思います。

King Quartz Twin Quartz model

Most people do not know, but King Quartz series was the replacement of the King Seiko series as the precision and convenience of quartz caused overwhelming popularity back in the 70's and they were forced to make changes.

Quartz were 1000x or more precise in many cases compared to the mechanical models (even now), and they just could not sell normal King seiko with mechanical movements. So are the same for the Grand Seiko which became Grand Quartz series until it switched back in the 87.

I had it sent out to a watchmaker to overhaul, change the crystal, belt, and O-ring gasket. (though, he said to avoid water as much as you can as the belt is leather).

This model is the last version of King Quartz with the most precise Twin Quartz 9923A movement for the series with ±２０sec/year precision. It is 9x more precise than an average quartz movement sold today from Seiko which has deviation of ±15sec/month.
