This 1981 release, inspired by Latin America, was produced for the esteemed French library label Patchwork. It features Romanian composer Vladimir Cosma, who continued his career based in Paris, alongside two members of the Paris-based Latin American folk band Los Calchakis, Lucio Saavedra and Fernando Vildosola. On the Brazilian side of side A, the sweet bossa nova tune "Bossa De Christina" with soft female vocal and the percussion focused tracks in the second half are particularly interesting. On Side B, the folklore-inspired tracks utilizing electronic sounds reminiscent of waterphones and flutes like the quena are recommended. Especially B3 “Nostagias” is a highlight. This is a genuinely authentic library work. The jacket has cuts and damage, hence the low price.
仏優良ライブラリーレーベルPatchworkに残された中南米をインスピレーションに制作された81年作。手掛けているのはパリを拠点に活動を続けたルーマニア人コンポーザーVladimir Cosmaとパリ発のラテンアメリカンフォークバンド Los Calchakisのメンバー二人 Lucio SaavedraとFernando Vildosola。A面のブラジルサイドでは柔らかい女性ヴォーカルによるスウィートボッサ”Bossa De Christina”にパーカッションを主体にした後半の楽曲群が特に面白いです。B面ではウォーターフォンのような電子音やケーナのようなフルートを用いたフォルクローレ曲がおすすめ。特にB3”Nostagias”はハイライト。なかなかに本格志向のライブラリー作品です。ジャケットにカットとダメージありお安くしています。
